Wedding Ideas

Here is a list of Wedding information to help you plan your wedding!

Vendors

The list below include vendors that we have had good experiences with. I have many more that I keep track of so if you need something not listed here contact us!

  • Bridal Consultants

If I can give one small piece of advice this would probably be the most important one. Hire a wedding consultant! The money you save with her/his advice and the quality that you will get along with a serious reduction in stress is the best money you will ever spend! Listed here are some of the bridal consultants that I highly recommend.

    • Northwest Bridal Consultants

      206-683-4780 stephanie@northwestbridal.com

Stephanie has a great personality. You'll love working with her.

    • Geoffrey Gilmore Signature Weddings

Geoffrey is extremely talented. He also has a very smooth style.

    • Distinctive Weddings & Events

Dianne is one of the most experienced Wedding planners that I know of. I highly recommend her for large complex upscale weddings.

  • DJ's
    • Braden Jay Entertainment

      1-866-340-8787

Braden is one of the finest DJ's I have ever met. Seriously hands on! The photo you see here is braden swing dancing with a maid of honor at a recent wedding.

    • The Wedding DJ's

Wedding Locations

Here are lists of potential wedding sites for you to consider.

  • Glen Eagle Country Club

    Arlington Washington (360)-435-6713

This location is quite nice. It has an advantage over many outdoor wedding locations in that the wedding ceremony is both outdoors and covered by an awning. Even if it rains the wedding can still proceed on schedule. The location is excellent for shooting your formals with natural light. Very reasonably priced too!

  • Kubota Gardens

    9817 55th Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98118 (206) 684-4584

If the weather cooperates this can be a fantastic wedding site at a very low price! You need to get a permit from the parks department (cheap!). Then you call up a party rental outfit like AA Party Rentals and they come and setup your tents tables etc. Cater your food and hire a band and your all set! The location is fantastic and you can have exceptional formals taken right at the same location. Make sure you plan on placing your reservations for July or August to minimize the risk of a rainout!

  • Bastyr University

    14500 Juanita Drive N.E. Kenmore, WA, 98028-4966 (425) 602-3152

This location has a fantastic wedding chapel. Their prices are very reasonable considering the alternatives. Like any really good location you need to make reservations way in advance.

  • Stimson-Green Mansion

    1204 Minor Avenue Seattle, WA 98101 (206) 624-0474

This location is probably one of the top locations in the pacific northwest. Unfortunately its priced that way too! Definitely worth checking into if your budget can handle it. You can do reception or both the wedding and reception at this location. You need to reserve this location way in advance. One suggestion is to pick an off season time slot. If you do you can save quite alot of money compared to the peak season. Its also much easier to book in the off season. This is a location where if it rains the indoor photosession will be fantastic.

  • Hollywood School House

    425-481-7925

This location has many nice little niches for excellent formals. Your wedding can be held either indoors or out, with your reception indoors. It also comfortably handles larger weddings.

  • Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club

    425-396-6000

Pricey but very nice. This location has fantastic views. Arts and Crafts details cherry wood etc. etc. And their food is excellent!

  • SafeCo Field

Contact the SafeCo Field Events Department at (206) 346-4228

Believe it or not you can get married on SafeCo field! If you love baseball this is really a cool way to go.

Washington State Natural History Museum.

Braden teaching swing dancing, Seattle Hilton.

Dinner at the Marysville Opera House.

First Dance, GlenEagle Country Club.

Dancing at Mill Creek Country Club.
